Delete your data

Last updated: 11 May 2026

You can remove your account and all associated data from The Red Light Review at any time. Choose whichever method is easier:

Option 1 — Email request

Email [email protected] from the email address attached to your account, with the subject line Delete my account. You don't need to include any other information — the request itself is sufficient.

We confirm receipt within a few business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Option 2 — Disconnect from Facebook

If you signed in with Facebook, you can remove the app's access from your Facebook settings:

  1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Go to Apps and Websites.
  3. Find The Red Light Review and click Remove.

Facebook will notify us, and we will delete your linked account and personal data on our side automatically.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record (name, email, profile picture URL, provider ID).
  • Your comments and any other content you posted.
  • Your active session, if any.

Server logs and aggregated analytics are anonymized and rotate out within 30 days regardless. We may retain minimal records (e.g. a hashed email) where required to honor a "do not re-create" request, or where law requires retention.
